My trip to the other side of the world

The good: a nice bottle of wine as a gift from the airline and $75
The bad: 1h15m of my life hanging out with airline security and lost luggage

The number one lesson when flying somewhere is always and I repeat always pack an extra set of clothes in your carryon. I do this everytime I fly, except for this time. And this time they lost my luggage. Well technically not lost, it just didn't make it onto the plane in LA because I had to spend so much time with security. Apparently the airline security felt I didn't pack my carryon bags very well since they decided to unpack, check every single thing in there and repack. Of course they don't let you watch, they take your stuff, tell you to sit, and wait and wait and wait.

I now know what racial profiling feel like. Not only was I selected for this special security check by El Al, but everyone else not of Jewish origin. As I look around the security waiting room there's a bunch of white Americans, Canadians, and Koreans. Probably twenty of us in all. We must have appeared to be a dangerous group. Especially a couple old women who could barely walk...or the girl extremely concerned about her cell phone and chanel purse.

or maybe it's your occupation/employer. ever thot of that?!? you're a threat! additionally, if alias ever taught you anything, NEVER judge a girl fussin' about her cell phone.
