Phone Calls
When you call someone and leave a message for them to call back, shouldn't they call back? I understand people are busy, etc. But a quick call back to say they got your call would be nice.
What's even worse is when you're talking to someone on the phone and they say, "hey I gotta go do something, can I call you back in a little bit?" Then never call back. If they didn't want to talk in the first place then say so.
When people don't call back I've realized I tend to call them back too often. I got this from work. When I need an answer at work, I leave a message the first time. Then if they don't return my call then I call them back later that day, then again the next, etc. I don't leave messages all the time, so I guess it's not too bad.
While this might not be too bad of a thing at work, I do the same in my personal life. I think, maybe they didn't get the message, maybe they forgot, etc. I should just accept that if they don't call back they don't want to talk to me.
