Please please watch out for bicyclers
We live in Los Angeles, which is a very unfriendly city for bicyclers. I've been pushed off the street by cars and SUVs and feared for my life many times while riding up and down on Venice Blvd. Seriously, why does anyone need a huge SUV? They have bad gas mileage and take up too much space in the parking lot.
A friend of mine passed this article to me today.

I was riding a bike on PCH a few miles north of where this happened that morning to practice for a Triathlon next Sunday. Thankfully they'll close off PCH to most of the traffic during the triathlon, but still it kinda freaks me out.

Yeah, it was very sad and to think we weren't that far away from it...I'm sure we'll be okay though come race day.
