My new car
Apparently a number of people disagreed with the prior posting about me not being a yuppie. Some laughed, others used the word dillusional...whatever.
I signed all of the legal papers today to turn my old car over to the insurance company so it's now official, I have moved on. Even though I'd like to be able to be sentimental and say that I'll miss the Camry, really, I won't. First the doors started to squeak, but I got used to that. Then the window didn't work. That was annoying, but I put up with it for a year. Then the drivers side door handle broke off. That was the final straw that soured our relationship. Then there was the accident and I was forced to move on.
A week ago I bought a new car. Nothing special, just a 4 door sedan. Very safe. It has multiple air bags, ABS brakes, does well in crash tests, etc. It will keep me safe. The doors don't squeak, the windows work, and it still has all of the door handles attached.

So is this that B'mer from overseas you were thinking about? Or a different 4-door sedan?
Geez! Aaron I had NO idea that you were in a car accident!! I am so glad you are ok. Yes, God loves you, provides for you, even if it isn't that Beamer from overseas :)
So many good memories ... in that crappy white camry. Give it 10 years and the door handles will come right off.
sorry man, we both count under a lot of those yuppie definitions. And, um, for someone 'saying' they only have a bachelors degree, that's a mighty convenient omission of the fact that you're busy 'getting' a MBA... :-)
How much did the insurance short you?
